Chesterfield Towne Center is proud to be a community partner. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations which have missions consistent with our vision and values.
Community PartnersCentral Virginia Food Bank (CVFB)
Chesterfield Towne Center employees volunteer in the Community Kitchen each month preparing and packaging food for those in need. The
Central Virginia Foodbank (CVFB) procures and distributes food to feeding programs throughout the area. The Central Virginia Foodbank service area includes 31 counties and five cities in the Central Virginia region. In addition, they serve as many as 4,000 daily meals in the summer and 2,000 daily meals during the school year to needy children through our 42 Kids Café and 13 Café for Kids programs.
Richmond Animal League (RAL)
Our employees also volunteer weekly at
Richmond Animal League, walking dogs and playing with cats that are currently up for adoption. RAL is the area's oldest non-profit no-kill organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population in the Richmond area. They rescue and foster over 800 animals each year, coordinate adoptions, and operate a spay & neuter clinic.
Salvation Army
Chesterfield Towne Center serves as a host site for the
Salvation Army Angel Tree program, along with Red Kettle appeal at mall entrances.
Greater Richmond Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN)
Chesterfield Towne Center works with
Greater Richmond SCAN in conjunction with our monthly Club Mom event. All of the donations collected from new Club Mom registrations go to support Greater Richmond SCAN. They are dedicated solely to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect in the Greater Richmond area. SCAN is an affiliate of Prevent Child Abuse Virginia.
