Our Security Staff uses Segway and bike patrols to reduce gas consumption.

Many of our retailers now offer shoppers the option of reusable bags.

The center has implemented new lighting protocols that allow us to minimize our energy use and lower our carbon footprint without any impact on the shopping experience.

Our center has a recently upgraded its EMS system and improved preventative maintenance program to minimize our energy usage and lower our carbon footprint.

We initiated a recycling program in the Mall Management Office of paper and aluminum cans.

Mall Management Team uses mugs, plates and flatware instead of paper products and plastic utensils in order to reduce our waste.

In 2008, we installed new landscaping that is made up of more drought-resistant plant varieties. They were selected to cut down our water use. We’ve also begun a smart irrigation timing program to reduce water used and evaporation during the hottest periods of the day.

We’re working with our retailers to help them reduce off-hours utility consumption by controlling lighting and HVAC use.
